The Gift of Listening

A lot of people feel like you got to have the gift of GAB when really what you have to have is the gift of listening. There's actually a rule about if you're in a one on one, socially or however, you should be listening 60% of the time and talking 40%. People say, well, that's impossible. They won't work for people to do that. Well, the point is be the generous one who is willing to listen more than they talk. And then if you're four people standing together having a beer, you divide the conversation pie. Each person gets 25% of theTime to speak and has to listen 75% of thetime.
