The Role of pH in BV
Bacterial vaginosis can lead to long-term complications, which is why it's important to identify and treat. In BV, the pH is elevated with either BV, actually, or Trichomonas. The first line treatment for BV is metronitis all two grams, just once. And there's no role in treating the partner in this case.
