Introduction
This episode of the World War Two podcast is brought to you by Hillsdale. For information on their new course, Winston Churchill and Statesmanship, go to hillsdale.edu slash www.podcast.com. In this episode, we will be looking at the use of gliders during the war with Matt Yates. The Germans had been using gliders since the late 1920s because they were forbidden by the Treaty of Versailles to train powered pilots but they were allowed to glide. With a glider, you can land 20 odd men or less men with vehicles and equipment in one spot very quickly and concisely.
