Jingis Khan's Career as a Conqueror

The Shah Muhammad II escaped to a small island on the Caspian Sea where he died. His son Jaladim became the new Shah and was pursued by Chingis Khan all the way to India. Jingis Khan's invasions were always retaliatory in nature. He did send his sons to conquests so they would each have more than enough territory to call their own after he died. But he himself went to war only in retaliation only when his red lines were crossed.
