The Unconscionable War in Ukraine
Marcy Jacoby is co-chair of the Peace and Ukraine coalition, which Code Pink launched following the invasion of Ukraine on February 24th. "We want to invest in climate, in healthcare, in housing, in education, not in endless war to date," she says. The United States has set aside about $115 million to fund this war in Ukraine. Half of that, an estimated half, is for weapons and military training. It's unconscionable when we're looking at millions of people who are food insecure - they don't know where their next meal will come from.
