Sophia: I want to talk about object oriented UX is this would be a good time, because you touched on it. What are the relationships between the things in this environment and me? Do I own this thing? Am I wanting to buy this thing? Can I edit this thing? And create these digital environments where it is not intuitive to answer those questions. It's like a bad acid trip for people who don't know what they're looking at. So we can break the laws of physics by recognizing machines that look different from each other. We have access to superpowers if we just apply ourselves," she says.

Sophia Prater reminds us that we're all pioneers in a field that is changing every minute. She encourages us to use forcing functions by getting the gig first, and then figuring it out. She introduces us to a design philosophy she pioneered called Object-Oriented UX which is all about taking really complex problems, and breaking them down into parts and organizing them. She also reminds us that in order to be successful in this field, we must become lifelong learners.
