I'm a journalist by profession and the gift of journalism is it forces you to talk to all kinds of people. And again and again, you find they're not as crazy as you think. They're not as big as it is you might think. You know, I never thought of it that way. There's something I can learn from this person. So if you approach people in that spirit, it not only leads to better conversations with them, it leads to more knowledge for you.
