The first part of this adaptation doesn't take place in the fifties, like it does in the book and in the many series. The kids are realy e kids actual, ye, because when there's a scene with richie where it's confirmed that he's 13,. And especially beb, felt a littlebit older, tota than ever, than the others. So i felt like everybody was maybe one or two years older than they were in the book, which i think worked.
