The right way to work with ideas is that you don't really want to work in this domain of like chicken scratches on ink and paper at all. Different ideas with different properties should feel different, so if you're holding a sentence about rockets it should feel similar to the sentence about black holes but very different from sentence about pizza or something. You can build representations that maybe preserve the underlying semantic information but make it easier for our like human senses to work more directly with it. That takes advantage of the things that humans are good at which is like spatial awareness and feeling things and texture hmm yeah.
