The Importance of Same-Sex Marriage
LZ Granderson: I've learned to try to lean into this a little bit and see if it helps me undo some of the conclusions I've made in my dogma. The LDS church leadership, I don't think I've seen them appeal to biblical texts for the ideologies and the boundaries that they set. But my goal here is to challenge this on a more broad level. One is derived from interpretation of the Bible rather than one that is derived from assertion of prophetic authority or anything like that.
