Using the bathroom on this trip was the biggest fear that I had. My grandpa in Guatemala took it upon himself to really teach me to trust that I wasn't going to get flushed out into the ocean if I flushed the toilet. So when he tried to embody this more manly role, it came at the expense of a trusting relationship with you.
