If extreme programming can really get you a ten ex productivity increase, then organizations that adopt that method should just be growing explosively and beating gogle at their own game. But more large scale, i think there's two things that impede the growth of these new ways of work. One is just things take time, you know. And it turns out wholesale change as to how work happens takes a long time because of different frictions. In knowledge work we have this culture of aetonomy that says it's up to the worker to figure out how they do their work. This is not something tit's just going to spontaneously arise as a result of individuals trying to optimize their own work flow
