The Universal Fatherhood of God
I appreciate your wince ability to dialogue with open theism, but I have not found it to be convincing. One of the most basic truths of Christianity is that of the universal fatherhood of God. Such a concept has often been deemed by fundamentalist Christians as the heretical teaching of modernity. The idea rests essentially on the communication of life for the child by the parent. Paternity is for us largely blind and instinctive; creation is love acting freely divinely.
