By the time you graduated from Cornell, there was no question in your mind that you wanted to work for Danny Meyer. While you tried to get a job at Union Square Hospitality Group, you worked as a management intern and then waited tables at Tribeca Grill. One of Danny's partners actually came to teach one of our classes at Cornell and me being a young, motivated kid at the time made sure I got his business card before he left. And so I had a connection right to the top.
