The Disagreement Between Dennis and I

The biggest disagreement between Dennis and I is that as Dennis said, he sees replication as being sort of essential to knowledge creation broadly speaking. And so a process in which there are no replicators doesn't fit best with what we know from papierian epistemology. Ideas don't create copies of themselves, but they simply exist and you look for conflicts between them. That is sort of a system which involves blind variation and selective retention and thus could create knowledge in theory.
