Creating Your Own Meaning, Be the Change You Want

How can we cling on to positive thoughts? Well, that's the whole debate about meaning. Positive thoughts don't cut it. That's a mental health strategy that doesn't work. It's positive feelings that cut it. And there's a difference between a thought and a feeling. So if you feel positive, not just think positive, so it's thinking happy thoughts won't be enough. You've got to feel it in your body. A very simple thing you can do is actually just despite the difficulties is just start taking a more upbeat, optimistic perspective. I'm going to create my own future," he says.
