Non-white families in the United States are left with significant risks sometime where they also see less earnings in the labor market because of labor market discrimination and other issues. We do not provide national paid family medically which makes this quite unusual among wealthy countries we are very far from providing affordable child care for all. The U.S. has enormous challenges in helping families afford long-term care home and community-based services as we say for aging loved ones and people with disabilities These costs are so substantial it makes no sense for every family to say for them but we don't have a great program there.
