The Deep Ocean Is a Difficult Place to Explore
i wonder if deve could give us a sense of how alien that environment is? There's crushing pressures. Temperatures hover just above freezing for most of the deep ocean. It's, of course, extremely dark. Once you go past about 400 meters, there's no sunlight or very little sunlight. But yet, it is home to this just, you know, amazing collection of life.
