Star Trek: Discovery
You've written the novels that go with the Picard series. So what is your sense of how the show now in all its forms? It's processing this idea that it's founded on an idea of the frontier, which now is maybe the frontiers are elsewhere and that kind of frontier is a dead idea. I think almost all of contemporary Trek with the exception of Lower Decks, which is a kind of playful. But Discovery, I think, is quietly doing some quite interesting and radical things.
