Do you have any idea how do they make sure that the dolphins are okay that they're studying them but they're not in distress? These days it's a lot better uh than it used to be and some facilities are way better at this than others. You don't really know what the dolphins experiencing consciously like how does it actually feel so it's hard to know for sure. There was a series of papers on a cetacean welfare in professionally managed programs which were published in 2021 by 43 different zoos and aquaria who tend to land on the captivity is fine side of the aisle.
