The Beginnings of UNIX

In 1975, the CompSight Department at Bell Labs bought its very own PDP-11. This time, it would be all UNIX, 24 hours a day. One of the first big projects that the Berkeley crew undertook was the development of a new database. It made for a wonderful, if slightly unstable programming environment.
