The End of Numbers 24

The end of Numbers 24 is again a prophecy of Israel being victorious and awesome, right? And it sort of looks to this, the day in the future, which Jim so beautifully explained for us. But again, that's in the future because we get to numbers 25 and we learn what Israel was up to in the present. In verse one of chapter 25, while Israel lived in Shittim, the people began to whore with the daughters of Moab. These invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. We're seeing again this connection that we see throughout the Old Testament that spiritual adultery always leads to physical adultery.
