The Hub of the Old Testament and the Book of Deuteronomy
If i were to teach through this, i would probably do something like this. I'd probably maybe spend a couple of lessons, or maybe one lesson, ending on the constraints on the historical prologue and the idea of remembering. And that really is, if deuteronomy is the hub of the old testament, deuteronomy six, four, five is thehub of the book of deuteronomy. It doesn't start all the way back at exodus. It assumes the knowledge of that. So we picture moses. He standing before this new generation, getting ready to go into the promised land. And he's about to tell hem about the law and what's to come.
