The Benefits of Offering Blessing
We love calling Jesus a radical teacher, but when it comes to actually applying the radical nature of his teachings, we have a problem with that. And I think that it's really helpful to keep in mind that when someone is attacking you verbally or even physically, they're doing that from a place of spiritual poverty. So by virtue of his attack, he's showing he's poor. He's in need. And so he needs your blessing. Your blessing can awaken him to his abundance. But you also need your blessing and we'll get to this a bit later on.
