The Doctrine of Simplicity
simplicity is a technical term in theology. It doesn't mean that god is simple to understand the way a two plus two is for right? The three persons of the trinity are not three parts of god, each of which is third of god. And god can't be cut up because he is absolute. There's nothing behind him, and there's no way in which he could cease to be who he is. But i think our listeners need to see, look, you have to start with god. You have to accept that he is who he is and not try to reformed what he must be like.
