I think we try and make retirement a maths equation. We lose that sense of what true well-being gives us in retirement. Human beings are storytellers, not calculators. The numbers are irrelevant if we don't know what our purpose and identity is going to be. If you can't take advantage of your numbers, what's the point? Exactly right.
