Some hard drives are just absolute garbage, and you expect to start seeing check some errors. Whereas if you go to eno drives with a solid reputation for good construction, you don't see them dropping off the bus at any kind of scale. Most commonly, when a solid state drive fails, it's just gone. You're not getting any data back out of it. It is just plain dead.
