Lusdig's Promise to a Convict

Lusdig escaped from Alcatraz in 1935. He wrote a note on his pillow about how he was like Jean Valjean. Lusdig stayed free for more than three weeks before being caught by the FBI. His daughter found him paralyzed and tried to help him, but she died two days later.
