Sonnet Number 60 - What Does It Say About You?
i feel like the ones that people pick as their favorites also say something about themselves. So what do you think sonnet number 60 says about you? I guess poets are always mindful of death, aren't they? This is all fleeting, and what are we going to do about it? And so it's shakespeare's answer to this. E's a bit flimsy, i think; he starts off with an amazing image but then kind of throws it over his shoulder and gets on with the rest of it. He ends up with this argument at the end, and yet to times, in hope my verse shall stand praising thy worth despite his cruel hand. Which is a lovely sentiment for
