I was just like all about spending a good chunk of my day, helping people out in terms of how they can get through their coding. So that's really what I spent a lot of my time on. And then how did I get the first dollar? Well, I had written all these blog posts about Sublime Text and they were getting lots of traffic. When you write a popular tech blog post, every single publisher out there comes knocking on your door asking if you'll write a book for them. But writing a book with a tech publisher is a bum deal and you don't make much money on it at all.
