The Importance of Self Knowledge
The very act of understanding that we are stories is itself already a process of self knowledge. Some people cannot be separated from their stories the other others have the ability to kind of insert this little piece of paper between, you know, this story and their emotional reactions. And so it's always a question of degrees I mean there are some people who are going to be much more aware of the stories that they are and some people much less so. The question is how beholden are you to the story that you are in terms of your emotional reaction to your environment.
