Shakespeare's Athello Speech

Shakespeare is a wonderful example of that exotic lyricism famously dubbed the Athello music by G. Wilson Knight. It tells us something about the all-or quality of the plays, rhythms and registers which might be something you'd want to follow up with Verdi's opera or Tello or the jazz musical Catch My Soul. As a sideline I'd advise any of you who are studying Shakespeare for your finals paper to use your work on Shakespeare really to write about things you know about and you're interested in.
