The Hobbit Movies: New Zealand

I think that the visuals have been the saving grace of the show, especially right now when we're ragging on the lore stuff. The bigger issue is, are they telling an effective story? And so if they can't lean on beautiful landscape shots, we're going to have an issue if they don't step up that writing. So I'm hoping that they compensate with a better writing staff and maybe a new showrunner. It's not a guarantee of quality remains to be seen if it's some kind of, you know, kiss of death.
