The SpaceX satellites are connected to each other. That means that the distance for the wave to travel between the dish and the satellite is much shorter. And that's why now you can get good speeds. They're talking about maybe having say 40 meg internet speeds, which isn't high speed broadband, but it's certainly enough to stream Netflix.
