How Did the PC Gaming Market Start to Rise?
I was a console kid. My parents actually wouldn't let me get a gaming PC and I feel like it wasn't until probably eight, nine years ago, I actually got a gaming PC. Why did the PC gaming market start to rise while the console market started their road? I think in large part, it was the lack of dynamism in the console model itself. Consoles are fundamentally a razor and blades business. You sell this expensive piece of hardware, this appliance and then you sell software for as many years as you can squeeze out of ituntil you've got your installed base.
