The Disinformation Economy

When I say disinformation economy, a lot of folks, they think of Facebook. And social media is monetized through clicks. Disinformation makes money when people click on those links and go to an outside website where a dozen or so ad exchanges are waiting to serve them ads. It's profitable. We use dark money in a political context. This is in a media context, which is there never seems to be any shortage of it.
