Stephanie Coontz: I've had students visualize what it looks like while they're taking a test. Do you have a picture in your head about what you're reading? The same thing can go with visualizing for time. She says having some pictures in your brain about time can also help people who struggle with feeling time. And so this really opened up her eyes to why she feels like she doesn't have enough time and where her time is actually going.
