The Cortical Homunculus

The homunculus is a distorted representation of the human body based on the neurological map of the areas and proportions of the human brains. There's a motor homunculus, a sensory homunculus,. And this is an actual thing in the field. Now, there is also the homunculus argument, which is a more philosophical idea that's linked to the Cartesian theater. So they thought that the little person in your head are quite literally, it was a little people in your head watching and observing everything that you do.
