The Role of the Beatles in the Digital Age

The reason why the Beatles had like this lasting impact is because they helped to shift society from a modernist to a more postmodernist kind of perspective. And so it was, I mean, they were kind of the vessel of a need that society had and you could make the same argument for The Rolling Stones. But there's something demonic about celebrities in general. Like they suck the life energy out of the culture when they become celebrities.
