I don't know why there is this kind of great divide between laconians and the rest of critical theory people on this particular issue I don't really understand it. There are definitely people who are now trying to bridge that gap so Todd McGowan's latest book which is on racism is definitely an account of racism from a laconian perspective. Traditionally like any theory has been a very white male field. To me it seems so kind of straightforward in a way. Well this is no longer the case and that's really a good thing.
