Aristotle and Augustine both see the piece of the earthly city as a false piece, right? Because it's based on the pursuit of competitive goods. So to what extent in the present life can we actually pursue politically or in real communities the true common good of man, the universe? I mean, is that the best we can do? How does this actually bear on politics?"
