The Future of Climate Misinformation
The campaigns have moved away from denying climate change outright, to instead promoting oil and gas as part of the solution kind of greenwashing these efforts. We also found a steady long term transition away from science denial towards solutions based misinformation. And so we've got a lot of research that's focused on natural gas. One more technique is important for people to recognize is the fossil fuel industry turning the blame for climate change onto us as individuals.
