How to Imitate Native Speakers
I would suggest finding some method, some technique. You find your resources, you develop it a but something where you're doing regular training. My students understand a lot about pronunciation before they can actually produce it themselves without thinking about it. I also really encourage my students to do an exercise of recording themselves and becoming sort of critical listeners. Then they can pin point what they need to do and work on it. And that's, i think, really empowering. When students realize that they don't have to have guidance someone else with the right knowledge and the right method,. They can actually really apply what they know to themselves and train themselves and really see results.
