In the skin of all of us are small endings of neurons, we call them afferent afferent endings that reach to the uppermost layers of the skin surface. By definition, they're called noceceptors because they respond to noxious agents. Something irritating on your skin, guess what? Those neurons are just firing, going crazy. The new system responds in, you know, hours to days, the nervous system is just like immediate almost. So I think it's pretty exciting. And I hope that it gets a fair review."
