Is Protestantism a Precondition for Capital Accumulation?
I think it's just not the kind of causal connection that people, that at least I hear kind of advertised for this text. One way of describing what's going on here is that he's saying that Protestantism is like a precondition for capital accumulation or you could say that it helped more modestly. There's a belief system that is kind of like organically emerging in England, in the Netherlands and Northern Europe and in the US. It was adaptable and like a menable to these like structural changes.
