i think for intentional communities, to have kind of ritualized ways of gracefully exiting makes a lot of sense. The people are sufficiently confident in the values of their society that they're not to like so many coltish communities do. It's en essentially say, go out and look at the outside world ad then compare it to what you have here and choose yes. In our proto b concept, we imagine each proto b having multiple sights. So if there's proto b a, it might have 20 sights around the world, and people can move from one to the other to the other.
