Oscillations in the Brain

One of the things I always found frustrating about thinking about oscillations is you know it seems like you could take any frequency band and relate it to any cognitive function that you want. It's not we don't see these modulations with bustling all frequency bands that they often seem to be constrained to very specific bands a couple of years ago. But again I'll go back to the sort of signal to noise argument and then say if you for instance do a working memory task you see a very robust modulation in the alpha band not so much in a beta and gamma band right So that sort of constraints the the issue and the interpretation but there are thousand different stories about how a thousand different frequencies relate to
