Monitoring Your Platform as a Service

When building for an internal organization, you could have a product that works 90% of the time. But there's little either developer experience issues or occasional reliability problems. It can be hard to get people assigned to the resources assigned to go like, hay, let's solve this once and for all. I wonder also, from the perspective of monitoring your platform as a service or your internal teams at stripe, is that different monitoring internal applications versus monitoring workloads that are coming from who knows where?
