Napoleon's Exile to Egypt

Napoleon's victories over the Austrians helped make him a household name. He was sent off to Egypt in 1799 as part of an 'eliminated exile' But he abandons his army under the guise and goes back to France for reinforcements. And then again, he's in the right place at the right time through his own doing to be able to take part in the coup that would see him become leader of France.
