The Threshold Points for Medical Research

The body passes through a number of threshold points before entering medical research culture. Most requests for bodies began in 1952, and actually a surprising number were not bequested at first. At that point the ownership of the body really does pass over to medical science. So this is the moment when I got very interested in what ethnographers refer to as how is legality experienced at each of these threshold points. In what ways is medical science taking a global view of what it's doing?
